Hi guys,

Well a couple of weeks ago I was all if/what/how/why/when about the 2GS. I've owned a trio of Soarers, but my fiance and I recently had a little baby and our current cars were just not big enough for all our stuff (babyseat, stroller etc).

So we sold one of the Soarers (1991 4.0GT-Limted) and picked up a late 2001 GS300, Onyx Black body with Sandstone interior. I was persistant to find a white or silver one but of course there wasn't one up for sale that had everything I was looking for. It has all options (HID, leather, 17" polished alloys etc) except for GPS and has full service history from new (all done at one dealer which, coincidentally, is my local Lexus dealer lol) and apart from a few small scratches and pin dents she's mint. Before purchasing I paid attention to the door locks and front ball joints and they seem to be fine, and one of my mates who works at said Lexus dealer inspected it for me and everything checked out OK.

I'll post up pics after I give her a good in and out wash

Happy to be part of the GS crowd!

Jose

Hi mate,

Yeah it was really needed. We tried to stick with the Soarer and although it was nice not having any car payments we had to bite the bullet.

At least I could still keep one of my Soarers
