Default On the fence with these wheels -- thoughts?

So my goal is to stay on a budget when modding my car. Wasn't going after wheels quite yet unless the right ones came along....

Well...

I have the OEM 16" 5-spoke painted wheels currently. A guy near me is selling his G35 18" rims, and says this:
Rays Engineering Manufactured
Four Forged Aluminum Wheels with Tires
Included Four Center Caps
5x114.3mm Lug Pattern
Fronts:
18”x8.5”
35 mm offset
225/45/18 Tire Size
Rears:
18”x9.5”
35 mm offset
245/45/18 Tire Size
Super Light Weight
Includes Michelin Pilot Sport Tires-40% tread rear, 60% front left
I think he's wrong on the Ray's, forged, and width parts (someone correct me?), but he says they're in perfect shape. What do I offer the guy? Should I go for it? (If I don't get these, I'd be looking for used 19 or 20" forged, which would be $1500+ I'm sure. Found G35 19" forged about 5 hours away for $600, but with about 30% tread left.)

Yea it shocked me to find out that those rims where made by Rays. I believe the story goes something like this...once upon a time Infiniti said they wanted some bad a$$ rims for the G35 and called up rays and they designed a rim specifically for Infiniti to use on that car. You can't really find those rims anywhere else because they are made just for that car and Forged which is stamped on all the wheels is just the knock-off name they used but they are from Rays and if by some magical chance u could get these without buying the G35 (brand new that is) the guy at a local rim shop told me they cost like $1500 w/o tires. I got mine from a friend for $500. n i got the 19" ones. either set looks really nice on the GS. I say go for it and offer him like $600 since the tires are good....oh yea dnt quote me on the story. the guy at the rim shop told me this. lol

Those look similar to the GS430 wheels. Except 1 inch smaller.

I think ONLY the 19" Infiniti rims are forged, and if they are forged they would have "Forged" stamp on them.

And those are 18" x 8" +30 offset.

I believe this is correct. I think only the 19" Sport Package wheels are Ray's, forged, and staggered.
