In the DIY for Q45 retrofit they remove the amber filter in the turn signal. Does anyone know of any rules in the US that the turn signal must be amber? if so can we just use an amber turn signal bulb?

Sorry for the repeat question; but I believe my post has lost its visibilty being at the end of page 4.

Thanks.

Default car light laws

hey SOARISTO..

like you've heard from everyone here.. welcome and a million compliments on your car. its so tight seeing new GS's with tight mods done.

hey xlsx,

i can't tell you exactly for NY, but all you have to do is check up on your DMV and look into the Vehicle Code for 2002 cuz it varies by state law. As for us in Cali, the from turn lights can be either amber or white, and the back turn signals can be either amber or red. yep.. that means white signals in the back like 90% of all the civics i see around is actually illegal. if u check in the vehicle code, you can find almost anything u need to know about car mods and such. hope this helps!

Default Man HID

The HID are slick. I wish I understoop everything on the web site. But SOAR GS with those HIDS are bright and phat. If I could understand everything I would try it out. Hey welcome to CL we need all your support. Peace....

We are talking a lot, but a lot of work will need to be done to do this swap. Obviously, it is worth it.

On another note, how hard is it to paint the headlights black to give it the black out look?
