Default How to replace floodlights???

I recently had my 2003 Lexus GS300 fixed after an accident and when I got home I noticed it had yellow floodlights. Weeeeell, I never noticed that before but since I can't prove it after speaking with them I let it alone. Maybe it did have yellow floodlights; I just never noticed. Any way, I want to change them out to regular lights that match the headlights.

1. How hard is it to change out the floodlights on a 2003 Lexus GS300?

2. How do you do it?

3. What tools, etc.. would I need?

very very easy to change, as the others said, just kneel down with a standard screw driver and remove the 2 screws, then gently pull it out. thats it. i just changed mine to ultra led lights and they look good. in all, less than 5 minutes

Thanks for all the advice! Would you say the headlights are as simple!?! Or is that a no-no? I recall the mechanic mentioning calibration and settings and that scared me.

Okay, now I have a good question. I recently had both of my WHOLE headlights replaced. So the headlight isn't cloudy looking. Is there a way to replace the plastic on the foglights or does the whole light need to be replaced?

The whole housing needs to be replaced. There is a pair up for sale in the classifieds.

OP, please dont decimate a set of yellow fogs to remove the yellow, just buy a set of whites and sell your yellows. easier that way

The foglights are starting to grow on me and I do not plan on getting rid of them. I am now in love.

No, the yellow capsule just screws out super easy. You aren't decimating them. Then he can change back when he realizes how cool the yellow is.
