OEM fog with projector
Anyone done a fog projector in OEM housing? Any benefit by doing it? Looks like the outer lense will disperse the beam.

benifit = better output cuz its a projector.. just a PITA to do since the lens is GLASS and its not held on by heat sensitive glue stuff.

This one is interesting. Asking Luxury Mods see if they can do it. It's there specialty in lights.

I remember a thread with a member attempting this but I don't know what happened. He had some pictures with the glass lense removed and was in the process of fabricating special brackets.

the only way to take apart the fogs (as far as i know) is to brake the glass. that's probably why not many ppl have done that mod

The problem isnt so much getting the lens off.. Its the fact that the lens isnt clear. With the indentations on it, it deletes the projector (in a sense). You can mold a small projector in the housing without the lens, but you lose the look of the GS up front without the trapezoid kinda looking thing.

Looks good!, I'd prefer the oem or clear lense covering it though.

yeah, that's a good idea. I wonder if they have the same color (yellow) glass. It would look sick with top and bottom projectors on.
Yellow fog projector + blue-ish low beam projector on probably looks pretty good. I wonder if'll make green LOL.
