Too good to be true? HELP
OKAY... so i have a potential deal going down TOMORROW, and id like everyone's opinion on it. im using my SC300 as a down payment on a 2000 GS400. Get to keep my new tires, so it wont need em, and then id have to make 18payments of 300$. no credit check, no interest. lease to own deal. Im really nervous about this, but the GS4 is the Lexus model ive been after since it came out in 98. ive talked to the guy on the phone, seems genuine. said he wants my SC as a 2nd car to drive at his leisure.
personally, 5400$ for a 99 GS4 seems like a good deal to me, but i need others opinions... cuz imma wimp and dont like doing things alone.
heres the pix he sent me.. obviously, its not going to have those fugly wheels on it, because its getting my factory ones off the SC. Thanks guys!

i'll ask him in the next email. it has 190k. it was serviced a month ago, and i believe it had the timing belt and water pump done at that time. its got the Navi and heated seat package, as well as the Nak system.
I just asked what lowering kit was used. and yes, those tacky lextasy things will be GONE.

... waitttt. KBB has my car, in FAIR condition, priced at $3700. This GS books for $5285...
sounds kinda like a rip off... thoughts? think the GS is worth more than what KBB says its worth? Im asking for $3000 for my SC... so it equals out to $8500... hmmm

Theirs alot of deals out their, im sure if this isnt the one you can find one about the same price with less miles..

yeah it was the 2nd timing belt. i pulled the maint records and its been serviced on time, will post them in a second. the problem im having is, imma 19yr old kid... no bank is going to finance me a car, and a GS4 is what ive wanted for YEARS... idk... 
I told him i'd do 200/mth for 18mths. that works out to 5885-3000 for the SC.

Im really torn here guys... thats the color GS i want.. i get to put my GS wheels on it (thank god). and its fully optioned... and its the V8. i really dont WANT a gs300, but i def want a 2GEN GS...
Am i asking too much for my SC? KBB says 3700... Im asking 3000. i just dont know. and I wont know if its "The" GS until I drive it tomorrow. After pulling the prices, there is NO WAY im paying him $300/mth unless the term is dropped to 9mths. I cant believe I almost walked into this. KNEW i should have done my homework. or am i being neive?

i LOVE the gold color! i like it on the SC, i like it on that GS... I dont want black, cuz im too much of a neatfreak and its always gotta be clean LOL. i like silver or pearl white... but show me a GS4 with an owner thats willing to finance it for me.
