Default Turn signal flickering...

Okay. So last time I left you, I had the problem with the bad rotor, bad brakes, so called locked calipers, so called bent tie rod. Well, I checked everything out and there was no bent tie rod and the calipers were NOT locked. The drivers side brakes were metal to metal and the rotor was grooved pretty bad. So I changed both rotors and brakes. Everything is fine at this point. well my son gets back in to go to work and turns on the left signal and both exterior signal lights flicker. Not the same as flashing to signal a left turn but a quick flickering. It only happens with the left turn signal. Obviously its a short. But where specifically?

Oh, can I please say this once again? Just in case there are other people from Columbia, SC that frequent this forum. DO NOT GO TO SPRING VALLEY FIRESTONE ON TWO NOTCH RD. THEY ARE CROOKS!!! Calipers locked? Really? Did you even try to push the pistons back? I got them back within 30 seconds with the C Clamp. But they were locked right? WTF?

Are the front and rear left turn signals working? This can happen when one of the bulbs is out. Or if the sidemarkers and little 194 bulb in the highbeam housing is out.

To elaborate, anything that is on the same wiring harness as the left turn signal.

Exactly what he said. If you find one that is not working just replace it. If everything is working fine visually I would do a bulb inspection of each one too.

I had a similar problem but it was with my break bulbs. Visual inspection and all was working. I inspected the bulbs found one that is black but the filament is intact as well. Went ahead and replace it and the sensor on the dash went alway. So just look for a bad bulb. GL
