Power seats problem, braking/accelerating movements
So I did some searching and I havent find anything that is helpful to my problems. I just bought this car about a month ago and first couple of days driving it, I noticed that when I come to a stop, the driver seat moved forward maybe 1/8", then when I accelerate, it moved backward about the same distance.
This problem doesnt occur if I "feather" the brake or accelerate (by feather I meant super slow an steady). Anyone has this problem and if they have any ideas how to fix this? Much appreciate!

First check the bolts that hold the seat down onto the body- move the seat back the all the way and see if the front bolts are loose in any way, then move seat forwards to check the back ones.
if those are OK lift the seat up both front and back as high as it goes grab and physically move the seat foward+ back to determine if it is a problem on the sliding track or something else. hope this gives a start to locating the problem

ok so I tried out all the things you said above and I cant seem to find the exact problem, when I tried to move it back and forth by rocking it, it doesnt move at all, I think only under hard braking and accelerating. What kind of shop would be able to look at this problem? Like just regular auto repair shop?
