I am looking at spending about $3000 on my GS4 within the next few weeks, what should I spend it on?? I already have the L-Tuned suspension, but have not replaced the factory tires yet...I figure those are the first to go. Any suggestions??

 

Wheels and a few more $$ for tires.

 

If you want to do 19" wheels, you can possibly get a good set with tires for around $3000...maybe a little more...

If you want 20", it's going to cost a bit more...

That's what I would with the money...

 

I was actually looking at 18's. I know I can buy the L-tuned tires and wheels for under $2000.

 

18's will be much less (just in terms of tires!)

Dunno, I would rather have some JDM 18's rather than the L-Tuned....I like wheels with lips...but that's just me...

If you're happy with the looks of the L-Tuned (personally, I think 18's are too small for the GS's large body), then with the extra $1000, I would spend it on TRD Sways and some TOM's suspension parts...

Of course, this is what I would do, there are just too many different ways to spend the money. For example, stereo guys would spend all the money on a headunit or some amps rather than anything performance or aesthetic...you have to narrow it down to what you want to do...THEN we can help pick out something that's worth the money...

i would go with JDM 18s, then go with an exhaust system.

 

man you need to get 20's, you can easily get a set of rims for under 3k... just search they're out there

Go for performance! Either suspension or engine! Don't slow your car down with 20s. I guess I'm getting too old for looks. HaHa.

nitto tires: $900
H&R springs / Ltuned shocks : $400
intake : $200

so for 3grand u can have all that.

 

You're not really going to find good 20" wheels for $1400...that deal for the Dronells was very rare deal....you're gonna look at around $2500+ for decent 20's with NO tires...more realistically, $3000-$5000 for good 20's...

 

I'd rather spend the money on
(1) TRD Antisway bars
(2) TRD LCB
(3) TRD STB
(4) TOM'S Rear LCB
(5) Coilover
(6) Exhausts

 

there are many many options... i still have my stock wheels on and spent my money elsewhere so you could do:

TEIN HA
Apex'i WS Exhaust
Weapon*R Inatke
WeapoN*R CAB
Strut Bars
Sway Bars

 

I agree, you need to decide on what you really want then we can help you spend the money on quality parts!

 

Nobody sees suspension or engine parts. You have to figure out if you WANT TO SHOW or WANT TO GOOO!!!
