Bad News! I took it to Allen's Tire Company, this is what they told me.

The Infiniti G37 Sport wheels need a deeper lug nut, with a flat contact point.
- Lexus lug nuts are shorter and have a round contact point.

Also, the stock G37 studs & lug nuts are 12 x 1.25 threads.
- Lexus studs & lug nuts are 12 x 1.5 threads.

Solution:

1. Buy a complete set of Infiniti studs and lug nuts, and R & R my whole set up.

2. Get custom lug nuts with the 12 x 1.5 threads, that are perfectly deep, and with a flat contact point.

3. Find some lug nuts that are 12 x 1.5 threads, that are perfectly deep, and with a flat contact point.

* My choice is number #3.

Side note: The Infiniti G37 Sport wheels have a larger hub than the GS300, this improper fit may cause shimmying at higher speeds, b/c both the wheel's hub and the rotor's hub gotta match.

Well, I've worked with the manager at Allen's Tire Company before, his business is right next door, and I trust his advice.

As of now, I'll try to find some proper lug nuts, after that, get the rims balanced and throw them on. Hopefully the test drive won't have any shaking/shimmying.

Luckily though, my friend straight gave me his rims so I didn't pay jack for those. Just gotta pay for the lug nuts now. If I ever find them.

Anybody know of a good lug nut place???

Till next time. Peace.

hey i know they are different but i have the G35 sport rims and i was running spacers. One day i had to take them off because my tire was rubbing and i got some open ended lug nuts from a tire shop. i would see about those before you went crazy buying a whole new set. and depending on how the other lugs you already have look you could just cap them so the threads arent showing. GL. can't wait to see pics

A tire shop didn't have lug nuts? hmm. Anyway. Check around online. Tirerack, and places like that may have them. Google is your friend

well it kinda depends on the width of that rim. most people run spacers to clear large brake calipers and to give that hellaflush look. I'm not sure what the width of these rims are but anywhere between 10-15mm spacers should do the trick depending on that rims particular width, your ride height, and if your fenders are shaved or pulled. at the worst if your car is lowered than you'll have tire rub, but u should notice that once you mount the rims. you also have to consider that depending on what type of spacer you get that you gonna have to get extended studs. but really you shouldnt even need spacers for these rims. since they are 9 inches wides. i dont kno much about how offset works soooo if anything u culd use spacers just to give it the hellaflush look. either GL dude.
