i got the rims.. very good condition. i'm just gonna change the front tires to maybe a 235/30 or so. what do you guys think? also, should i lower my car more? and yeah, $450 for 20" stern staggered rims in good condition. what a steal.

Well are you lowered? If you're stock, then no you wont rub. You'll have a half a foot of gap all around to protect those fenders.

If you are lowered or plan to go low in the future, the fronts will be fine, go with a 245 up front. The rears with a 255 tire might rub a bit depending on the drop. But a light roll should fix that problem.

Now mount em up and take some pix already!

Assuming you're dropped at least 2" from stock height....

The fronts...you will be tucked inside the fender well...just make sure you're not rubbing the fender liner when turning. 245 is ok here. if you going to add a 15mm or 20mm spacer to push it out...then I'd suggest 225.

The rears...you will be very close to flush....I'd recommend 245.

i posted that i have a 2" drop, but i was just planning on that. i'm just looking for a good drop that wouldn't rub so much. but the 20x8.5 40 offset fr-20x9.5 25 offset rr, are good?

I think you fronts should be fine, Im not exactly sure about 35 series in the rears. Since you got them already i would suggest mounting them and taking them around the block with some buddies in the back seat, hit a couple of corners and a few dips and see if there are any rubbing issues. Some people roll 30 series in the rears, if there are then go to 30 series. YOu can get spacers if they arent too flush and you can run up to 275 or more in the rears if you have the clearence. Nice find!!!
