Default I got a good deal on wheels.. i just need to know if they fit. help

I can pick up some stern wheels 20x8.5fr 20x9.5rr for $450 with tires. the thing is, he's had them on his 350z. now i know it's the same bolt pattern, i don't know if the offset will work. can anybody tell me if they would work?

Find out the offsets and we can tell you more definitively what it would take to fit them. I believe most normal fitment 350Z wheels would generally be aggressive on a GS but would probably work with the right tire setup. More info. is needed to tell for sure.

the thing is, he doesn't know the offset. he tells me that the tires are 255/45r20 all around. that just seems to fat though. lmk

You're right. Those tires would be big on the GS, a 255 is pretty wide in the front and the 45 aspect ratio is very tall for our cars.

Most wheels have the offset stamped on them somewhere, have him take a closer look. If you like the wheels, they may still work with different tires.

wouldn't these tires even be too big for the 350z?

what's the offest.... if it's a 20x8.5 and 20x9.5, for the most part it will fit... unless it has an offset of +15 (front) or+20 (rear) or less.... then you might rub a bit... nothing a little roll couldn't fix though.

I that case, you are dealing with a total ****.

Tell him to go into his garage, flip them over to expose the back of the spokes and tell you what it states. Should be:

PCD 114.3x5, made in ..., ET XX
It takes a whole 30 secs to find out!

Personally, i cannot stand morons like this, regardless of how a 'good deal' it is. If a seller cannot tell me what i want to know, i will pass it up and not play a guessing game; risk not having them fit, and risk not being able to resell for the price I paid [in the rare event i pull the trigger anyways]

GL!

since the wheels are off the car...all the seller needs to do is to take a pic of the spokes...one of the spokes should have a number stamped behind there for the offset.

Something similar to this...+38 offset in this pic.
