2000th post! Evolution of Ari (56k get out of the stone age)
For my 2000th post i thought i would do a build up thread on "Ari," i bought her back in September 06', however i knew well before then that i wanted to pick up a GS in white it just took me a while to find the one. i had already purchase a JDM Explosion Kit and RMM wing and bought some other little goodies even before owning the car. So as soon as i got the car i took it to the shop and got the kit installed. so i dont have any photos of it with the OEM bumpers on.
those are the wheels that came with the car so dont be too hard on me. It was super 4x4 status so i tried to decide what kind of suspension i wanted to do, after some careful research from ride heights i opted for some Tein Flex with the Tein EDFC. While waiting for those i got some other goodies like window visors, door handles, trunk bar, and some JP goodies, etc.
the first set of wheels i bought for the car were some Work Euroline S2H's which i didnt really care for after test fitting them so i sold them and picked up some Lexion 203's from ShaneC another member on here. I finally got the car lowered and got a Tanabe SHM Exhaust and Carson LED Tails and I entered a couple of shows with this set up.
i started to dislike the look of the front bumper and so i thought a wider opening would make it more appealing so i took it to a body shop and had them custom the bumper a bit and i also painted my calipers and i got tint
i decided i wanted to update the look of the front end after the bumper was modded so i opted for a 10th Anniversary Toyota Aristo Black Chrome Grill and got an UGO roof spoiler and Led Mirror Covers
i became bored with my wheels and the fact that the offset was incorrect so i decided to bit the bullet and get my dream wheels my Weds Kranze Bazreia's in the process of getting these i got my first sponsor Dunlop Tires.
I then got inducted into my car crew Team Menace (www.teammenace.com) and things started to pick up a bit, i started by painting my roof black for the accent color, got an SRT intake and some interior VIP goodies, and got a sponsorship through Compustar Alarms.
i then got a sponsorship from Memphis Audio which my installer Adam Nonis worked up some magic in my trunk
I was asked to go down to SEMA show in Vegas and en route down there while my car was on a trailer behind me i got into and accident that really damaged the car from all angles. both bumpers were torn up, a couple of the wheels were damaged, and there was dents around the car. It was a big setback at first. however i decided that i would build it up even better tan before so i got everything fixed and bit the bullet and bought my JP grill that i had wanted forever, and got a sponsorship with StopTech brakes.
then i decided to step it up another notch and got an Airrunner system, so i can dump the car on the ground, I got in contact with LuxuryMods and i did a Q45 retrofit in my headlights, did some chroming in my engine bay and got a sponsorship with Mishimoto and Adam custom fit an IS300 Radiator and tranny cooler into the car.

and this is how she sits now. I have been stock piling some parts over the winter and so there will definitely be some new photos coming in the near future once i have the chance to get everything worked on. so stay tuned. thanks for taking the time to read. please any comments and criticism are welcome.
