Fog Light Modifications Lense
#36
I knew the lense would make a huge difference, they are designed to refract and disburse light instead of giving a nice wide and powerful output. You're welcome, just gotta figure out a solution to this particular issue.

It's takes a few minutes to look at it so check it out.
I'm loving the projector output, without the oem lense, on 55 watt... so nice and yellow. Man, I want to get this done.
I wonder if you can use the existing lenses as a cast... I have no exp just suggesting. Or, maybe mold hardened clay then shave off the ridges and use it as a mold.
What is the material that is to be used, is it plexiglass?
btw, my yellow coated projector lense is on it's way
couldn't "top hats", forgot his name, make one for us if enough ppl put money down? I remember him trying to make clear lenses for our headlights.

I'm sure it can be done. The fog light housings are all the same, aren't they?
If you don't mind, Vlad, could you post some pictures of the front of the car with the lights on, with the lense?

The projectors that I am using are referred to as "Blazer" fogs and are a commonly used projector on hidplanet forums. I choose them because of their small size and cost.
No I dont, however my stock HIDs dont output as wide as the fog.
You can Alex, however I dont think that it would look right
I've already tried getting in touch with some fabricators in order to get this made, but everyone of them says that in order to be able to make these lenses they need to be molded. Molding isnt a cheap process and I am still trying to find a company that is willing to work with me in order to do a small quantity. I remember top hats, but he was using a company to get the lenses made and then gave up or was unable to get it done?

Thanks Brian, the fog lights are the same throughout the 2nd gen gs', the current fog lights that I have modified came off of a 2003 GS300.
I dont have any pics of that but I do have a pic headon without the lense of the 6k 55watt
There are no aftermarket fog lights available for our cars, as far as I know.
none of the fog bulb are amber... if you take out the fog and take off the bulb, look inside and you will see the yellow lense. mines pretty dirty so it may look darker yellow.
