The studs do not hold the weight of the vehicle. they create friction on the mounting surface. the Center hub does more to help with weight than the studs. if it was the studs alone they would ****ing snap. 3 threads past the lock nut or 1/2 the dia. of the stud is the Rule of thumb on any bolt/stud connection. Antiback off prevention is key.

is 10-15mm to big?
you can get some nice quality 15mm spacer on ebay, with built in studs and hubcentric rings for @140 shipped for all 4.

I'm on G35 and it's not hub centric. Just be safe.

Yup 5mm is the max with out having to get extended hubs install. but usually 15+mm are usually bolt on types and depending on brand some are hub centric which is a must unless you don't mind vibrations. if you get a 5-10mm spacer these usually do not come with flanges to make the wheel hub centric so I would stay away from these.

The G35 does not need hub ring but it's highly recommended. I posted the spec somewhere and don't remember it. I do have but it's not on the wheel right now because I took it off and forgot to put it back on. But it's running smooth without it, but I will have to put it on if I want it right.
