Default About to hit 100,000 miles

Didn't think i'd get here this fast, but 6 months after buying my 02 GS430 with 80,000 miles, the 100,000 mile mark is approaching. Im not too nervous about it... my 01 IS300 went to 150,000 miles without any major problems before I sold it. Anything I should watch out for on this car? I'll have the 90K service done within the next 6 months. Suspension seems to be fine, and I don't think 01+ had the ball joint problem. Car needs a good detail, but i'll wait until all this rain here in So Cal stops. Thinking about buying another Lexus with lower miles, and just using this one as a second car. Not to sure yet though.

you should be ok if you keep up with your maintenance. 2001+ didnt have the ball joint problem but i changed mine at 90k just to be safe.

BTW 100k lexus is a low mileage car lol

I just hit 45,000 on my 2000 GS4. And hit 220,000 on my Ford Escort. Sadly, the Escort has been the most reliable car I have ever owned.

Don't give up hopes on the 2GS GS430 because of mileage. I bought mines a year ago with 75k now I got 107k and it still runs the same. Just do some mods and it will make you have interests on the car if that's the case. I do admit keeping the car stock is kinda boring .

Two days a week I drive about 200 miles each day. The other five days i'd say I put about 50-100 miles each day depending on where im going. I drive to San Diego about 2 times a month, Temecula almost weekly, and do a few trip up to the bay area a year. Plus all the little side trips up to Hollywood and down to OC. All those miles add up. Im not to nervous about the reliability of the car. Like I said my last Lexus went to 150,000 without a problem.
