What colors are the 98 GS4?

Well I would rank it this way:
1. Blue (but I didnt get this cuz it doesnt come with black interior)
2. Black (can't beat black )
3. Silver (gives the car a sporty look and doesnt look so damn dirty)

AHHHHHHH, I did not know that when I was looking for my used one. There were only like 2 blue ones that I found had nasty tan interior. If there are blue ones with black interior, they must be very very rare.

98 white warning
There's something you should know about the White 98 GS models. All the GS300/400 have plastic bumpers and the lower 1/3 of the doors is plastic.
The 98 White models have had a problem with the plastic parts fading at a different rate than the rest of the car. Anyone thinking about purchasing a White GS should be aware of this. Apparently it is a problem only with the 1998 models. I have been told by several Lexus dealers that repainting wont help because they will fade again at different rates.
Some people might not mind this. I don't think it looks bad at all. However, anyone thinking about purchasing a White 98 GS should be aware of it.
I repeat this is a problem only with White and only with the 1998 model GS.

I have bronze / tan and rarely see it on the road. Looks great (got a lot of thumbs up)and very practical, don't have to wash it every other day. I don't think they make it after 99.
Blue is very nice..., with black interior? guess matter of taste, to me very "somber". Downside of blue, black, cinnabar is high maintenance and you can see every scratch from 30 feet.
Silver/black is probably most popular, also most common... .

Alpine Silver baby with grey interior. I think it looks better than the new Millenium Silver. Seems like they mixed some gold into the Millenium Silver. Black looks nice at night but is freakin dirty as hell. I think blue is nice, but it's like one of those "phase" colors. Kinda like turqoise when it first came out, everyone liked it but now when you see one, you want to throw up.

hhodgetts i didn't know that about the white gs4's... so the bumpers and the bottom sides aren't plastic on the other gs's? why is it that they only did that for the white ones? r u sure? what kinda **** is that? now that u mention it... the color does look kinda offset... but it did get into an accident from the previous owner... so i figured they just did a fu6ked up job re-painting the body... well... it's not really a major problem but it does bother me when i look up close... guess i can't do **** about that now though...

Good thing for you they are rare, otherwise you'd look like Calista Flockhart.

I can get on the Lexus manheim auction site. Blue is the rarest, however I just think it is too light for my taste. I was going to get black but it is the most popular behind silver. The tan is everywhere on the site although I have only SEEN TWO in real life . Pearl white is average for the number of cars on the site. It is nice. The green is pretty rare with the nav and hids. This is why I chose green. Looks black but then still looks beautiful in the bright sunlight.
