As for sound system, well, I already registered your name in the raffle that includes a full audio system excluding headunit...so...cross your fingers.

Thumbs up

This appears to be an excellent deal, especially since you know the car's history. I would take the GS to the local Lex dealer and have them do a pre-purchase checkup for peace of mind. The blue is indeed rare.

Go for it!

HID's were optional on all GS's(300 or 400) from 98-00. Then in 2001 it became standard on GS430's but remained optional on 300's. I have seen many GS400's without HID's. As a matter of fact my GS300 came with HID's & Nakimichi while my GS400 didn't

Where's Dex's comments on this? He has a blue '98 too. Maybe he paid more

Anyway, he turned a plain GS400 into a KILLER show car.

yup, hid is an option for 98. the guy who owns the car didn't get it coz' it's only included in the premium option and that was pricey. that's why he most likely doesn't have the audio upgrade too

But if you like big comfort and nice styling..the GS400 (at that great price) would be the way to go.
very true, that the stick (i mean the stick on the rsx-s) is what bothering my gf. and it seems like she is not favoring manual now
