CL BEEN A MIN SINCE IVE BEEN ON, BUT YALL NEVER FAILED ME! MY CEL, VSC, VSC OFF LIGHTS ARE ALL ON RIGHT NOW. GOT A CODE READER FROM AUTOZONE, AND IT SAID 130, 133, AND 136, I THINK. CANT REMEMBER SPECIFICALLY. BASICALLY O2 SENSOR MALFUNCTION AND THAT CAR IS RUNNING RICH. THEN MY VSC LIGHTS CAME ON. CODE READER GAVE ME 4 CODES, CANT RECALL EITHER, BUT BASICALLY MISFIRES ON EVERY CYCLINDER ON DRIVER SIDE, 1,3, 5, 7. SO I TOOK TO LEX TO SEE WUSSUP, AND THEY TOLD ME ITS THE JERRY RIGGED EXTENDED SENSOR ON MY DRIVER SIDE HEADER. I HAD MY S&S'S PUT IN BOUT A YEAR AGO, NO LIGHTS TIL NOW, WHEN IM TRYIN TO SELL THE CAR UNFORTUNATELY!!!
(BIG REASON I DONT WANT TO INVEST MORE MONEY IN CAR) NEWAY TECH TOLD ME, THE SENSORS HAVE PROTECTED INSULATED WIRES AND THAT THERES NO WAY OF GETTIN AROUND THROWING CEL AND CODES IF U TAMPER WITH IT, IE EXTENDING WIRE!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN AFTERMARKET SENSOR, OR KNOW FOR SURE THAT IF I GET A SENSOR TAKE MY TIME, AND SPLICE, SODER, AND SEAL A BRAND NEW SENSOR THAT IT WONT THROW CODES OR LGIHTS?!?!?! PLEASE HELP CL, I AM IN SERIOUS DANGER OF LOSING MY PROSPECTIVE BUYER!!!!!!!

I'm confident that if you replace the offending O2 sensor with a new, factory unit, your CEL light trouble will be over. They aren't that expensive.... Make sure you replace the correct one, based on the trouble code(s)...

Its the drivers side, but the issue that the tech told me was, since ill have to hack n extend it either way, its going to change the voltage! Still havent gotten around to even trying to just remove n clean the sensor! But any suggestion is welcomed! I appreciate the feedback bmac!

Use soldered connections to extend the wires and then heatshrink the extended portion and you'll be fine... an extra 6-8", even more, won't result in a measurable voltage drop, assuming the connections are properly made...
You will prove that tech FOS if you do it right.... if he was a good tech, he'd know that....
