Default Any GS 300 owners want to race a 2.5 Altima owner in So. CA?

http://www.altimas.net/forum/showthr...3&pagenumber=2

That is the thread. He says he beat a GS 300, I said he did not. I am setting up a challenge. I am sure a 3.5 Altima manual will beat a GS 300, but a 2.5, I have my doubts.

Globe, any one else wanna do the honors?

I know, I am a member of ANOTHER forum:eek:

Default BS

That guys story seems like BS .

First he says he used to own one and says the 4 speed auto is weak . Its a 5 speed , duh . Then he says , he sees the guy again and races and won to 100 . I doubt he ever raced again . Then he says the guy doesn't feel like using his NOS , lol . If he had nitrous , why wouldn't he use it in a race ? And another point , how do you go to selling your GS to a Altima ? And if you did sell it , why the low line 2.5 and not 3.5 ? His story is total BS .

But i am almost certain the 5 spd stick will make it a close race if he shifts good .

Look what he has:

"2002 Nissan Altima 2.5S: 5 Speed
Stillen Intake
Eibach Pro Kit
17" 5Zigen 5ZR (not on car)
Limo Tint Rear/Medium Tint Front"

2002 Nissan Altima 2.5S 5 Speed: very nice :applaud:
Stillen Intake: I know an intake would give you some gain or sometimes even lose power at low end.
Eibach Pro Kit: Oh~ Scary
17" 5Zigen 5ZR (not on car): since they are not on the car, why include? This is like me posting "2JZ-GTE, in Japan".
Limo Tint: God damn! That just gave you extra 30 horsepower.

I won't even waste my gas to race with this guy. This is stupid. Or we could have one of our GS300 w/Area 51 SC to kick his sorry little ***.

a GS300 will not lose to an Altima 2.5, auto or stick. power-to-weight ratio is only important to some extent.

I don't want to race him because I dont' want to prove that I'm better than an Altima (disgrace to the Aristo name). When stupid people buy Altimas and think they got BMWs, something's wrong.

No, I would just let him talk. He just wants some attention, like the little kids that drive Altima 2.5's are. He's not man enough and not mature enough to afford and maintain a Lexus. Probably couldn't keep his GS because he couldn't afford it, so he had to settle for an Altima (2.5 nonetheless). Let the guy race Civics, he's not in our league.

That's coming off a little pretentious isn't it? And since when did you have to be a manly-man to make sound financial decisions? And the ...not in out league... stuff Your attitude one of the worst I've seen; give it a rest.
