Default code 1349 >>> ?

hi...i drove my gs300 this moring and my light came on..
also my vsc and vsc off light come on too /.. took it to autozone for free test and it came up engine code 1349 ... has anyone have this b4...

it print out possibly

- vvt system malfunction

1. valve timing off 2. blocked oil passage 3,. failed control vlave

right now , im getting a bad gas mileage, car drive rough even on high speed.. rougher at the light ... like it want to shut down... but when i turn off the car, it shut down like crap....

please show me or anyone that have any information what i need to do.. thanks

It's your Oil control valve. Just replace it. Order from Sewell. How many miles has it been since you changed your oil?

get an engine flush or at least change your oil. i had the same problem and i changed my oil and it went away.

i just changed the oil last month...yea... the car have 169k miles on it.. its high..

thanks for the help.. but on the tested when plug in, it also mention mis-fire..but dont mention too much about it... imma go head and change out the oil valve and spark plug too... do i have to use the double tip oem or upgrade to iridium plugs? any other input would be nice.. thanks again much

thanks for infor... i did oil a oil control valve filter and rings...about 10 dollars..

sometime car run ok and times it run like crap...but i aint taking a chance to driving it as anything can happen....wont come in til tomorrow.... they qoute me lower ball joint for 81 each...

imma go head and change rather then cleaning it.. it got 170k....

thanks any other tips will be nice

your op made it sound like an engine problem, is the roughness and bad running due to the engine or the suspension?

engine.... run rough that the whole car shakes... its like ur running 5 cylinder or so....its not normal.. its like too much friction thats is holding u down....
