Default HID's in the fog lamps? Too hot or not?

Quick question:

If I put HIDs in the fog lights of the GS3 will it run too hot or am I good?

I've got HID's in mine too, no problems. I feel safer with a kit that has a wiring harness from the battery rather than pulling power from the factory wires, that's something I'd look for when buying.

as long as it's consuming the 35watts that it is suppose to then your factory wiring harness wont melt, but if you are running the 55watts one then you will need to hook it to your battery.

Same here. I have the 55watt connected to factory harness and sometimes I would have to turn on an off for it to ignite.

maybe put the fog in the high beam? I will be getting a projector with yellow coated lense... I might put that in the high beam and disconnect the fog altogether.
