Default How hard is it to install a bodykit?

Okay, so I'm about to get a sweet kit (pics to come in the next few weeks) and I'm considering putting it on myself. The kit consists of a full front bumper, full rear bumper, and side skirts.

Is it hard to take off the bumper? This kit is coming off of another GS, so I think that fitment shouldn't be a problem.

Any suggestions? Or should I just get a bodyshop to put it on for me?

Kevs, it isn't too hard...a few screws here and there...if you have a body shop do it, the charge should be MINIMAL...since it's just a swap...

Yeah, the install of my veilside bodykit didnt take long at all, maybe like half a day since they had to drill some holes for the wing. For my front bumper, front grill, sides, rear bumper, and wings to be painted and installed I paid only $800. Hope that helps.

Damn, now if I only had a digi camera to take some pictures of the car with the bodykit

i wouldn't trust myself with any of the body work. even the side skirts require taking other pieces out, not just the stock side skirts. IF you have experience on other cars, then go for it, but not for a first time. i watched it and it looked like hell.

Bravo is right, let the professionals handle the install on the bodykit. You wouldn't want to mess up your bodykit.
