maybe this will help, assuming you are at one of the current oem tire sizes (235/45/17).... not sure why youd want to, maybe you have some free tires laying around..

Those are way too big. and will rub and raise the height of your car. I wouldn't go larger than 235/50R17. The factory overall diameter on 16" is 26.15 and the factory overall diameter is on the 17" is 25.33.
215/60R16 = 26.16
235/45R17 = 25.33
235/50R17 = 26.25
235/55R17 = 27.18
215/60R16 = 26.16

when i had my 17 stockies. I had the same set of tires. That **** would use to rub my fender daily. I was drop low too. Finally, im getting my fenders rolled and pull this weekend and put on the new set of rims and drop it till it's flushhhhhhhhh.
