Default Will 235/55/17 Rub on my GS400?

Thinking about upping the profile size on my tires, does anyone know if they will rub or not?

Thanks in advance..

I don't know for sure, but it will probably hit the upper control arm. On top of that, since you're moving to a tire that's almost 1 inch larger than spec your speedo is going to be out of spec.

You might think about dropping to a 235/50-17 or 245/45-17.

maybe this will help, assuming you are at one of the current oem tire sizes (235/45/17).... not sure why youd want to, maybe you have some free tires laying around..

Those are way too big. and will rub and raise the height of your car. I wouldn't go larger than 235/50R17. The factory overall diameter on 16" is 26.15 and the factory overall diameter is on the 17" is 25.33.

215/60R16 = 26.16
235/45R17 = 25.33
235/50R17 = 26.25
235/55R17 = 27.18
