need help with tinting
hey guy
i want to go and tint my windows next week, and i have a few questions for you guys, i have a white gs400 and i want to ting my windows all the way arround, and i am pretty set of the percentage of tint that i want to do, i want to do 35%, however, i have seen people with all these differnent types ie quantim, platnum ets, and i want to know what is the difference, and which one would be better. the other problem that i have is that i am color blind, so i need your opinions as to which would would look better on a white car, and if you guys could give me any other advice i would greatly appreciate it.
thank you

neema110,
I've always been partial to Quantum tint (Black with a slight mirror is the best way to describe it) and it should look very nice on your White GS4.. If you would like to see how the tint looks on our Blue GS then click on this link below:

hi
i have a black lexus gs400 '98 i'm goin to tintin place tomorow.. my car is already tinted with quntum.. its about 35% or so.. i think it's too light.. practicly not having any tint at all
i'm puting 7% (darkest) on all 5 windows.. and on windshield i'm going have to think how much tint put there..

the interior color of your car matters too...with tan/light grey, you can go a bit darker....with blk int., 35% is perfect for my taste...btw, quantum metalic is what i have...the best thing is to find someone you know who has a white car, same interior, even better if it were the same car with the tint that you are looking at..

Better question is how dark do you want to go before you start getting pulled over. At least here in Cali they are strict with tinting. The fact you have a Lexus will help but tinting also includes a few tickets but I guess would still be worth it if you like the look.

i dont really want to go too dark, there are a couple of reasons i want to tint, one is that i just love the way a tinted car looks, and second the navigation screen is a lot more clear when the sun beams arent in my car, and second it would protect my leather and stuff too
