i've seen 'em all they are great.

thank you finally someone that knows the difference between DRIFTING and "fishtailing"... .i hate it when people with FF cars tell me they were drifting.. because i know they WEREN"T.....

drifting is essentially reverse understeer. you are in an oversteer situation understeering to try and get out of it.... if your front tires had all the traction they could it would be imposible to drift cause you would pull out the exact second you got in one.

That dude SC_Speed was pretty accurate in explaining the differences. THe GS is a high powered RWD car, so oversteer can happen pretty easily if u are not careful. U want to let off the gas and point in the direction of the curve. DO NOT BRAKE!!! Basically instead of you going into a turn easily, you go to fast and your front wheels are pointing in one direction but your rear is sliding either left or right (like your car is slanted).

In understeer, if u let off the gas too much, u may go into oversteer, so be careful to point in the direction of the curve and keep the same speed. Like he said it is HELL to get out of, but it rarely happens to RWD cars to me.

Drifiting requires loss of traction, huge wide tires make it harder to drift on dry pavement, you need to try it in the wet. Also it helps if the car is light.

Alot of drifters use controlled e-braking to slid the rear around...how would you ever hope to do that in a GS?

OK....lets try this again...

#1 THE GS IS NOT A RACE CAR
#2 THE GS IS NOT A DRIFT CAR

and before any one gets disappointed at the strip....

#3 The GS IS NOT A DRAG CAR

lexusrules, although it's not the norm, it is possible to drift properly in a ff car. the techniques are different, but it can be done.

If its not a rrace car or a drag car or a car that should be pimped out and not raced.....
then Why do you have an INTAKE, COLD AIR BOX, SAFC, EXHAUST???

Those are all PErformance mods... and go on RACE CARS/ WANNA B Performance Cars....

not flaming.. just a little confused.

Havent' you seen my engine bay?????

It's all looks....

I mean, an intake/exhaust really adds very little power....I am just hoping to get back to stock power after the wheels and system. But I bought it because of the sound and the looks....plus some times intake/exhaust makes a car drive alittle better, not this case though.

We all bought GS's because of the looks....

Wow, I haven't seen any GS3 with 20" chrome drifting in action. You can drift GS if you know how but it's really tough IMO. I'd suggest you to take some "drifting school" before you do it without any instructor beside yah.
