If you have only seen the TV series before, it wouldn't be bad to get the DVD anime version. Just 2 DVDs anyways.
how's battle stage? Does it include any dialogues? or just racing scenes?

Uh, where the hell can I buy that? If it's under a couple grand, I'll buy it! I need something to fill a "dead spot" in my living room anyways!
Oh, the translation in Battle Stage is HORRIBLE! The others are much better... oh well, no big deal, I can just watch the others for the translation...

about the drifting thing your talking about, thats known as a race drift or "kansai drift" (sp..?) where at the apex you basically just power drift with teh wheels straight.. but there are other types of drifting than that.
That is the drift used on japan circuits but not in japanese drift trials and on the mountains.
In hte mountains they use a theroy close to that but usually try to drift with minimal angle but all the way through the turn.
In drift compititions is basically how big an angle can you make and how long can you hold it for, special points are awarded for 360 spin and continue hands out of the window etc etc.
Drifting is more than just oen turn as well, drifting is controlled slides through a series of turns... it can be done to raise speed like the race drift, or for style like the sway drift which has absolutly no purpose except to keep your drift going through down straights.. and is only used in street and drift compitions. Remember your drift is over once you go straight again. This is just a definition of mine from the many places i've found it.
another thing to add is understeer is involed in a drift. Why?
because when you are drifting the tires are turned in the opposite way..... but that isn't the direction you are actually going. They call a drift a 4-wheel slide because the front tires are in understeer while the rear tires are in oversteer!

viper's insurance is too high... found that out.... sence im only 17(turning 18 sept 19th)...(will get 1 forsure when im 20 though)
s2k is a great buy (but i oh so hate hondas)
91-95 Mr2 turbo i can mod up tol 5-600hp easily with not too much miles (but i cant find too many with low miles....)
So i dunno... dunn wanna keep the lex and turbo it.. cause then ill just be ragging a 40grand car... (not cool, plus this car eats too much gas anyways.... 27$ gas every 4 days)
