Default Thanks to all the "Drifters" i screw'd up my Car!

i guess ive been watching too many "car drifting" videos.....

so i wanted to try it... found just the right corner....

gate-shift down to 2nd, WOT and turned hard ... car drifted little (okay a little more then little... huh? lol).. then i felt a lil bump/thump (bottom out??)... and a lil scratching noise.... didnt think much of it...
parked, got out... and my right rear wheel had a inch and a half curb mark.. and an inch of my tire was cutt (horizontally, may b 2/10 of an inch deep.......) gonna goto a tire shop tommrow to see if the tire will be okay...

Again...

Drift fans... dont try drifing with 20inch wheels...
(i dunno what happen with my car... dosent make sence....)

Perhaps the tire sort of popped off the rim for a moment when you were turning?

i'm thinking tires with 35 sidewalls are too thin for drifting...or you would need an extreeeeeemely stiff suspension to do it.

i also think it has something to do with the tirre separting from the rim. low profile tires can't drift as good. at least the tire didn't come off otherwise it would be way worse

sorry man.. i may be 16 but i've been studying drifting for a long @$$ time now and its not somethign u can just hop in ur car and do... i guess u learn the hard way sorry to hear that.

So did you hit hte curb? or did your tire cause the curb rash? somethign is strange here... also your suspension is too soft to drift as others have said.

LexusRules, I love your sig, with the rotating pics like that. That is very nicely done. Did you ever get my pics, to make my sig for me? And what about that manual as well. Sorry to keep bothering you about it. And you are only 16, that is one hell of a car for 16.
