LED tails or 01+ Tails?? which and why

I have a 99 2GS. If I had a 01+, I would have kept the tails stock. But b/c I don't, I upgraded to the Sonars. This was a couple years ago, so had I know about the Insurance tails, I would have jumped on those w/ the quickness.
But I have no problems with the Sonars after a couple years. Absolutely no problems.
If one of you guys, who has the hook on Insurance tails, wants to start a prepaid groupbuy, I'm in.
