Default LED tails or 01+ Tails?? which and why

I know some of you have chosen to go with LED Tailights and some of you Chose the 01+ Tailights...can someone tell me why some of you chose differently i.e LED's to bright, or they just didnt flow with the car, to expensive.

Or why the 01+ tailights
They are OEM, cant beat that, they look just fine and cost me nothing. they flow with the way the car is..

Ive been reading horror stories about LED Tailights just crapping out, or causing electrical issues, so im just trying to make sure what im getting myself into.

And how much did you guys pay for the tailights....

The only LED tails that I'll install on my car are the ones made by Insurance. Other then that I'll just stick to my 01+ stock ones. Not really in a hurry to replace my stock tails because of the reason you specified.

It's all about taste per say... You have to becareful with LED's as well... if they're not DOT, the DMV will not renew your inspection.

Plus, the 01 tail lights look like they're giving you a mean look from far away in a dark alley ;]

I also got this dilemma. That's why I haven't switched yet.

you got it all covered. for some it's personal preference of looks, others it's money, and others it's functionality and dependability (LED's can stop working and you'll have small missing spots on your lights)

All the problems with led's are probably with the cheap ones... you get what you pay for. As for me switching to led's, well when it comes to cars I dont NOT want to have what everyone else has and since stock is well stock... Got to get rid of them.

Well which ones do you have??? i was reading stuff about Sonar making them for WISE and JP, but then read a thread about sonar having moisture built up in them. If i recall WISE and JP are very highend stuff, sucks to know the manufacturer doesnt have as good as products as we thought.

Don't know about others, but mine have never let me down, I had the thin clear non snow flakes for over 1 year, in all kinds of elements over -40'C to over +30'C, sun, snow, fog, whiteout, rain, salt, sand, dust, power wash etc... lol

And IF they crap out (I'm kinda waiting for it since day one, thinking they'll crap out very soon), I have the 01+ that I'll be swapping the thin clear lens into and paint the edges to red since the thin clear doesn't have a red surround on the clear.

^ Word. I have the Insurance taillights and by far they look the best and don't look like a cheap ebay brand.
