Sorry for the late response, Tipp.

Thanks for the compliments and to answer your question, I did use an HID conversion kit for my high beams.

It is a 9005 5000K HID kit from HIDExtra.

If you take a look at these pictures here, Tipp, the inner ballasts (the black and silver ones) are for my high beams.

How'd u get the foglight cutoff point so straight. It looks like you have projectors in the foglights.

You're very welcome.

Looks like everybody is switching to HIDs these days.... even if it's without retros.

Any 9006 kit will do, but go for the DDM Tuning kit since that's what you have in your fogs. You don't want the bulbs to end up being a bit different than the other because it's from a different manufacturer.

Good idea I was going to try HID extra or get the raptor kit for $25 from DDM but I think i'll stay with the slim ballast from DDM even though there is plenty of room. I have that kit on my quad and only did the low beam so I have an extra ballast just incase I need it. Plus for a pair of slim ballasts and bulbs shipped priorty (2-3 days) for $60 you cant beat that.

Yes they do. Let me give you the link.

V-LEDs 9006 6000K HID Slim Ballast Conversion Kit With Purple Tint

They give you a choice to two kits: the regular ballast and the slim ballast. The slim ballast is cheaper and should perform just as well.

Haha, nope. Have fun with them and take pictures of the outcome.

Just be sure to re-aim your headlights down and toward the center of the car just a hair to keep whatever glare you can from getting into another driver's eyes.
