Hi Guys

i recently purchased a 01 gs430.The cd magazine was missing from the car,it has the basic sound system no ml.

I purchased one from ebay the part number was 86273-50050.

I went to put it in and it was real tight fit,but being the impatient person that i am i forced in.The cartridge loaded no problem,but when i tried to get it out,it released and came out about 1 inch but wont come out any furthur and is stuck.

I want to ask you is this the correct magazine for the 01 gs430,and does anyone have any ideas how i can get it out.?

The magazine should be the same for all years. If you are in a DIY mood, you can remove the cd changer unit, take off the outer case and find the release lever.

Worst case, I will have an extra unit for you around the 15th.

I have an 01 430 so i know it works

Hi thanks man for the quick reply.

I will give it a go on Thursday,and try and find the release.
If all fails i will definitly be in touch with you about yours,or pm me when your ready to take it out.

lol, im removing mine too... also a 2001 gs430. what u putting back into its place? im putting a half din dvd player
