Hey Everyone,
I'm huge on electrical mods and came up with an idea to have the option for HID additions to my 2000 GS Platinum.
My model comes with HID's on the standard head-lamps already, but I went out and got some 10,000K's just for show / fun. I got some ultra-white drive LED's that fit inside the corner during regular driving, night / day.
The issue is that I do not want these new blue HID's on permanently, I'm not trying to blind everyone I come up on while driving.
I had an idea to route a custom relay to my radio dash faceplate, I've got a custom nav in there, so some room to add on a couple switches (gotta love more buttons & inputs!). I've ordered a number of on/off switches and know exactly the wires I need to route to the main dash, basically the original 9006 adapter positive and negative, so that I can initiate these new HID 10,000K's on the inner drive lights as needed.
So, what in the world type of power do I need to route to this relay? Can I take it straight off the battery @ 12V? Is it wise to add a fuse relay in addition? Any additional specifications or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!
Once complete, I'll be sure to post a tutorial on the install.

you are right, I meant to say 10,000K which are the blues, long night. i'll edit above. In the inner's, most likely will need to build a projector adaptation.
