any suggestions for a 93 ls400, replaced both speed sensors swapped gauges and tried another ecu but I'm still getting no speedometer reading and code 42 for the number one speed sensor

I have a jdm Aristo. 1998. 180kmh speedo.
Bought a Toms 280kmh. Turns out the 2001 facelift brought curtain airbags among other ghings and the Toms is 2002.
Plugging in the srs light stays on and thd door ajar light does not work. Also thd trip computer in the JDM climate control does not register. That particular feature is normally part of the triple din but JDM double din climate also worked in a trip.
Looked at the parts cats and discovered the differencd in pre facelift and post in thd cluster only has to do with thd circuot board and tachometer part nos.
Remember thd Toms is a modified version ov the facelift jdm 180kmh.
So i swapped circuit boards. And viola! Everything works....except ghe speedo reads 160kmh when doing 100kmh.
That then begs thd queztion..what did tom do to the facelift cluster to get thd speedo to react
Anyway toms and jdm motors read similar and the marks on top left say 637rpm per kmh. So the trick has to be on thd board i think.

So i followed the four pins from the speedo motor to an ic . Oem jdm 180km reads 0230k toms 9381k

So my next step is swapping thd toms onto oem circuit board hoping the ic has notbi g to do with srs but only speed odo etc.
Any pointers from you would be useful.
Also sjnce US cars use 160 Mph speedos i may be abld to solve my problem there.
What ratings do you see on the speedo in terms of thd motor rpm to mph on a US speedo or any speexos ypu may have come across.
My 98GS Aristo may havd internal interchangeable components.
Thankx for any help.

Do you remove the wire before test driving.

Default Speedometer will stop working at random times

My speedometer will stop working, but when it kicks back on the rpm needle will stay at 1k, mph at 20 and the temp, fuel will be zeroed. I have no warning lights on at the moment I’ve been trying to find a thread based on what my speedometer is doing with no luck. The gauge will then go back to normal operations and read correctly on all gauges I’m a new 2GS owner haven’t experienced this issues till now 😅😅
