Default Paint issue with OEM Spoiler

To start things off, the sad part.

This car is a champ, but the looks are really starting to downgrade quick. The cars spot is in the driveway, so it gets beaten up by the sun, and in the morning by the lawn sprinklers. The hood of the car is scared deep with hard water stains, but that isn't nearly as noticeable as the spoiler.

What I'm looking for is a remedy to this issue, whether it is repainting, buying a replacement, or taking it off all together. What I need are thoughts or ideas because I don't have money to play around with (I make just enough to fill it up with gas), and I would preferably like to do it myself if possible. This is my mode of transportation for the time being, and I'm grateful that my dad handed it off to me, I just don't want it to look so run down when I'm driving it, it makes me look bad.

Is your car's color black? If so the condition of the paint appears to not be in good condition by looking at your trunk lid. The OEM spoiler is a whole different story. I would replace but then again I don't like the OEM spoiler anyways.

It is black, it just looks really bad because of the massive amount of pollen covering the car right now. I'm washing it tomorrow, I wanted to wait a while so I didn't have to go back and rinse it every couple days, it is getting a fresh coat of wax as well.

I'm not the biggest fan of the spoiler, but it just gives it a little extra sporty look that I don't mind. I like the idea about a car cover, I'll have to look into that, but for the time being I want to seek out the best options to fix this. Should I bother getting a few quotes from local body shops? Or would it be cheaper to find a replacement somewhere?
