280 MPG for that V8 is better then I Xpecting camparing to my Inline6
(280 miles for the V8) That is really good MPG for a V8 and the percentage of city driving. I think I need a tune up for my inline I6. 50/50 city/hwy and am only getting 280 for inline 6. I always top her off at the first sight the empty light indicator lite on, with 2 gallons in reserve to spare. Here are my numbers 280/16 or 290/16 with Costco gas.

I am thinking of doping one in the car. Since you mention it, I live in southern California, and there are winds that blown sand all over the places. Especially Santa Wind. Instead of a blanket of pollen in the morning all over the car. It covered with sand. Just for kick. I have never wash my car so often ever since I moved to California and seldom get a free car wash.

Got a slight increased in MPG according to the computer
I added the Lucas 10003 Upper Cylinder Lubrication & Injector Cleaner 32 oz on Sunday. I noticed my computer shown in an increase in MPG in city driving to 20 was normally 17-18mpg. I will use the filled/divided method probably within one week and will post asap. With the gas price soaring. I think I may have to stick with Costco gas.
