Glossy makes it look like you have a panoramic roof, which is really cool. If none of these ideas takes hold, you can always put on a faux convertible top - the uniqueness of this mod would set you apart from the crowd.

Nah, I think that I will be done with the build. I have to sort out a few more things, but as far as the motor is concerned, it's all done. Just gotta get it back on the dyno one more time for the final tune.

Friday it will go to paint, and I should be ready to sell it on Monday! j/k

Maybe in order to make the car stand out more, I should run it without the HKS hood and leave the motor totally exposed!! lol I'll post up pics when I have something really new to show. Otherwise this is where it stands.

That's one unique car. I thought all GS's had moon roofs? What kind of hood is that? Looks similar to the one they put on Cobra's or GT500's.

that car looks like a brute!! est. on HP/torque with your TT swap?

Daayyumm i just noticed that too.. never seen a solid roof before. Was it plugged and filled custom?

I love my sunroof but that solid top runs good with the rest of your set-up

He already got the motor mods. Might as well let him have some fun and go for things simply for looks. Not too many Turbo GS400 around that looks as good as his car.

When I bought the car new in 98, I wanted a moon roof. They didn't have one in and they were bringing in the 99's. I didn't wanna pay more, so I decided to get this one. I thought they all were like mine and only the lucky few had moon roofs.

It still amazes me that Servco actually brings in no moonroof cars. Unless the owners special order them. I once bought a used 99 LS400 that had no moonroof as well. Every LS I've seen had one but the one I ended up buying.

Matte would look like a giant sticker.

Depending on the car color, I would even consider a silver or charcoal roof.

I think black looks great on most colors - mine is NightHawk Black with blue flakes.
