Default Bad Rotors?

I am changing out my rear rotors. I was told they were too thin by a shop. I also feel a "wobble" or "rotating" feeling if I am starting or coming to a stop very closely, this has gotten slowly worse (considering they told me this 2 months ago, but I have been really busy). The pads are fine, so I am guessing it is the rotors hopefully, they look fine, but maybe they are warped?? Does this sound like it might be the problem?

I almost forgot, the new pads I bought don't come with shims? The old ones are rusted and crappy. Do I need shims, and if so what the heck do I do? I am almost positive on one of my old cars it was the same thing, I bought new pads from Auto Zone and they didn't come with shims, I replaced them and there was no problem. What should I do? These are just my stock rear pads/rotors, only my front brakes are upgraded.

Ive heard that chims make it quiter... and are a good thing if you have them... but if you goto a good brakeshop... they can have your pads on and use the sparys that they use... and have everything working fine wiht out the chims.. i dont have the chims on/around my brake pads... and it works just fine....

BTW if you get new rotors.. you might as well upgrade to Slotted/drilled rotors... (around 350-400 for all four front and rear)
