Default HID Ballast

It seems like my driver side ballast is going out, I thought it was the bulb but it wasnt. Is there a difference if I change the ballast to an aftermarket one or would it be the same. It seems like I can get 2 brand new aftermarket one for the price of 1 used ballast.

Yup... You can try DDM.. Their ballast are lifetime warranty. Check their site.

Not sure... your choice really.. They have the regular big ballast or the slim one. Its up to you how you want to mount it. If it'll fit on the original spot then thats good, if not then figure out where you want to mount it.

Mounting location is up to you, the stock location will probably be best. Just make sure you keep it away from excessive heat. DDM is a good choice if you are on a budget. You might want to try Xenon Depot as well.

Hey guys might as well post here instead of of a new thread..

My bro came home tonight and the passenger HID Bulb was out. I got him to turn the light off and on. The bulb lit up but it was more of a purple color and flickered. Compared to the white light from the driver bulb

You guys think its a bulb issue or ballast? I was gonna order 2 new bulbs from HIDEXTRA

It could be a bad bulb but it could also be a bulb that was damaged by a bad ballast/igniter.
