Header install and O2 heater sensor

I will be installing some headers soon. I got the dual O2 sensor sim and (4) 10 ohm 10 watt resistors. I had wired the (2) resistors in series for a total of 20 watt 20 ohm. I know that I would tap the resistor into the 12v heater but do I cut and attach the Heater ground and attach the resistor on the ECU side or do I tap into the Heater ground wire? Also, if I am using the stock Y will I still need to run the O2 sim and heater resistor to the O2 sensor on the stock Y?

I know this probably won't help you but for anyone else who comes across this YES for the o2 sim on the stock Y or else you get cat efficiency errors because you no longer have any also the heater ground on the ecu is the same ground for other circuits so just tap not cut and for the 12v heater i don't think it'll matter but just tap in and you can found the 98-01 ecu pinout on here as well as the 02-05 ecu pinout ( a lil harder to find but does exist) and yes they are different
