Does anyone have any tips about being low and not having the upper control arm ball joints hitting the top of the shock towel

There are a few write ups on this. Many people cut a hole where it makes contact with the wheel well. If don't correctly, it will allow for more travel.

take a hole saw drill bit and start drilling a hole where the UCA goes thru.
make sure the guide hole is centered over the UCA

If I cut or drill will is show in the engine bay or is there like 2 layers of metal and you will only be able to see from underneth? And my second question how much more travel will I get from doing that?

It will definitely show the hole in the eng bay. There might stuff in the way in the eng bay area though.

Find the mark left by the UCA use a small drill bit from the bottom going up and see where it goes through. Shouldnt be anything in the way. There are a few writeups for how to cover the hole. I think one has made and is selling a cap for it.
