Hey everyone,

I am curious as to when everybody tends to replace the original spark plugs in our V8 GS's. I just hit 99k on our 02 GS430 and have never replaced them. The car runs fine with no issues, but I feel as if I should be replacing them about now.

around 100K miles. plus u could always pull one out and look at it. sometimes you wont be able to tell that anything is wrong but if you look at them and its any type of rusted or corroded then its time to go

I change mines every 35k Denso Iridium

Thanks for the replies. The car has been babied it's whole life and runs like new, but regardless I'll have to get these done in the near future.

I'll take your throw aways... Time's are tough... I'd use those bastards for another 60k....

I bought mine with 89k, replaced them around 118k, along with the timing belt.

Just did mine at 98K...I put in Iridium tipped so I shouldn't have to do it for another 98K

Dude, if you ever need to change those spark plugs, i should still have some ngk iridium laying around somewhere with just around 10-15k miles on them. Just got to look for them
