I'm willing to exchange anyone with blown shocks for my still good hood shocks. you just need to pay shipping both ways.

Thanks!

i tried to talk FIGS into making me some low pressure shocks for the CF hoods but he said there wasn't a big enough demand for them to make em, maybe this thread would have changed his mind.
BTW even his hood shocks look good

http://shopfigs.com/v1/index.php?rou...&product_id=71

i spent ALONG time searching around and doing research before giving up on any real solution besides using OEM blown shocks....which i never was able to secure them. check out this post specifically post # 22...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...hood-ques.html

he was supposed to making some low pressure ones but if i recall correctly each brand hood that weighed different amounts would require a different shock so i dont think he ever made them

if you look l8r in the thread thomas i was kind of hoping for you to get me that OEM info for the shocks but i kind of gave up on it as i thought i secured a pair and was gonna do it myself but that guy flodged about them and refunded me. i will update it when i get these blown shocks in from Omar

Your on a OEM hood thomas arent you thomas? off topic...you been kind of staying lowkey also, anything new with the car?

gonna post in the other thread also for those wanting to find other less PSI shocks for our aftermarket replacement CF hoods. this is the info on the replacement StrongArm 4536 shocks if anyone wants to find some with a lighter PSI than our OEM shocks

6.25 in. stroke length; 10.67 in. compressed length; 16.92 in. extended length; 0.87 in. body diameter; 0.39 in. shaft diameter. Provided with nitrogen gas charge up to 2500 psi that does not affect any of the internal components and glycol fluid lubricant to slow down the movement prior to full open

Needed to bump this because I'm looking for the Strong Arm hood shocks but I see that they only come in packs of 1 now on Amazon?

When you guys purchased this did you have to but separate ones, or did they come with 2?
