Amber Dash light on for "tail light" malfunction?
Hello,
So I took my 99GS4 to the dealer last week to have the front bumber scuffs repaired/repainted as part of the deal for me to buy the car.
Once I got it home that night, right after I turned the headlight on, this warning light came on and so first thing I did was go around the car and check for "unlit" bulbs,
Normal Beam (HID) - Check
Driving Lights - Check
Fog Lamps - Check
Front Side bumper Lamps - Check
Rear Parking Lamps - Check
Break Lamps (inside Car) - Check
Break Lamps (outside Car) - Check
Am I missing some lamps/bulbs that this indicator is telling me?
During daylight driving, the indicator is still there.
What gives?
Thanks
Flip

Do you have a 3rd brake light on your rear dash? If so...remove and check the 5 bulbs...one might be out.
Also, check the dual filament bulbs (ie parking/brake lights)....and the license plate bulbs.

well, i must have overlooked the right side "inners" brake light it seems.
Having a hard time removing it atm..i thought they were all screw type (meaning, turn left and it will unlock) kinda deal, I guess i need more elbow grease.
