Default speakers 2nd gen gs
ok i was told the door speakers are 4 inch front and back. is anyone running after market speakers that are bigger than 4 inch do you have any problems with the door panel fitting or the window when it roles down?? please help. what is a good size to get because i know the stock speakers are 4 inch but it also sits in a plastic housing.

Did you run a search on this, I was wondering the same thing myself... I know my boy has 6" or 6.5" beemas in his GS... And I dont think he cut the panels...

You can cut the stock speaker adapters and fit 6.5 or as stated in the similar thread OP posted, buy or make new speaker adapters.
