Like someone else has mentioned assuming the car was taken care of (ask your mechanic to inspect the car) and the car fax is clean I wouldn't hesitate. I would though... get a copy of the maintenance records from Lexus to ensure the major work was done. A timing belt will run you $1500.

Several words of advice.

1. Run a carfax
2. Check for receipts
3. Take to your mechanic
4. You can go to lexus.com under the owners section and type in the VIN number and see the service performed by a Dealership

If all those check out, then go for it. 150k miles with great maintenance is like having 50k miles on it.

I bought my 99 GS400 with 104 on the clock for 9k. Great shape. 9 months later I'm at 141k and it's still perfect. I love it.

thats a really price for 150k there is a person out here in cali that is trying to sell his gs4 99 with 215k for 6950.. now thats something to worry about... even tho i was thinking of picking it up..but its not worth it at all...

GS400 with 151k now, bought with 118k and it runs great! I love it and am going to look into buying another.
