Does it have service records?
When was the timing belt last replaced?
What is the history of transmission fluid changes?
The car is worth around $5k. Will it have an expensive problem one day...perhaps. You will get what you pay for.

The car will have the same potential expensive problem as any other GS with lower miles. It just might occur sooner on the GS with the higher miles. That said, as long as the service history is good I wouldn't worry about it. I'd take a high miles GS with a good service history and one that was taken care of over a low miles GS that was neglected any day. In fact, with the well taken care of high miles GS, you'd probably only experience typical worn down parts replacement maintenance, while with the neglected low miles GS you'd probably have a serious problem come up.
What all that means too me is the price and mileage doesn't really matter at this point. It's the condition of the car that is more important.
