Default ''GS300. Thinking of going LED for my rear brake lights, questions...

Plannin on ONLY changing the inner tails, outer brakes and 3rd/window brake lights to LED.

Will this trigger the cluster warning light?

Which of the 3 will actually cause the warning light if it does go on?

And 3rd, Is there a fix besides removing cluster bulb? I still want to have the warning light just in case a bulb actually does go bye bye..

Ok you gotta start using the search button lol.

You would need to get a resistor in order to not trigger the brake lamp indicator. But this would defeat the purpose of using less watts.

its been discussed at length.

to answer your question....

1. yes
2. all 3
3. yes..get one with resistors (outter)...or pull / cut wire to lamp out module pin #4.

i think he is referring to actually switching the bulbs themselves over to LED...... NOT buying the full LED lamps

Guys. Searching has been done. I always search first. I k ow the first question was redundant!
Regardless. I have yet to find a solution to question #3. Just resistor and wiring workarounds. Not a working solution.

I want the warning brake light to actually work if a light still burns out. Couldn't find a post discussing a fix for that specific issue.

For now I have found to either pull the gauge cluster warning bulb.
Buy resistors for each light (does that you need a total of 4 including the
inners)?
Pull #4 wire pin connector from harness to shut down the warning signal to gauge cluster.

only way for the sensor to trip is if your resistor goes out. not very likely.
