anyone know where I can get a good quality carbon fiber hood for the GS, and if I do use a CF hood do I have to use hood pins or I can skip that ?

I got one for sale...just PM if you are interested. As for hood pins, the one I'm selling does have them and that's cuz of the safety factor (don't want that light weight hood to be flyin off when you are goin 80+ mph). Remember, you dont have the shockes holding it down anymore. Let me know if you are interested.

Contact Steve Ganz @ Carson. The last I talked to him he was talking to a distributor from japan who has a hood and he was inspecting the quality of these hoods. I wonder if he got good feedback or not.

Hey Biggie, the hood pins are mandatory.....this guy with an IS300 didn't put the pins on and his hood flew right off. Better safe than sorry.
