Default Installing SAFC in the ashtray NEED HELP!! Video Inside

For anyone who's done this, please help me out.I need to know how to run the SAFC wiring behind the ashtray.

open the ashtray up. theres a way to route the wires with the space provided already. i used it to wire up my nav hack

Very simple. Get a hanger, cut the hook off and make it straight. Pull the ash tray out stick the hanger through till you see it under the dash. Use electrical tape and tape the wire around the hanger very tight pull the hanger through gently till the wire comes through and there you go if you cant fit it through the back of the ashtray, you may need to cut a little off with a dremel tool to fit it through...

I stuck mines through the ashtray and then along the side up to the firewall. Just pull on the center console plastic piece and the wires should fit inside just fine. Might have to use a little force to slide it in between that plastic and carpet.

Oh yeah, that wire that you mentioned behind the ashtray, i wired the afc wires underneath that. hope this helps. GL

Thats how my wires are ran too. Make sure you use a hanger and a lot of tape.

if can also remove the shifter plate in the middle you have more of a option to run the cable,, another trick you can use, that you where using on your video is your flash light you place the flashlight under the kick panel and see where the light coming from and bam!!! run your cable thur that point

fyi that how i fine fiber connection without using expensive equipment
